Does Your Pet Need a Chiropractor?
We've all had a good laugh at videos of animals running into glass doors, trying to jump over fences, or taking a tumble down the stairs. While these accidents can be entertaining to watch, they highlight the importance of animal chiropractic care.
Surprisingly, in the early 1900s, chiropractors were required to graduate from chiropractic school with the ability to adjust animals in addition to humans. This was because they used animals as patients to assess the effectiveness of chiropractic adjustments.
These adjustments were so successful in improving health and aiding in healing that animal chiropractic care became a norm. Nowadays, obtaining certification to practice animal chiropractic care requires specialized training, and both veterinarians and chiropractors can obtain it. Dr. Jackie Manfre received her certification from OPTIONS for ANIMALS in Wellsville, Kansas. Call Thrive Chiropractic for more details about our animal chiropractic services.
